After we leave Munich, our first stop is the Dachau concentration camp, and subsequently we overnight in the medieval town of Rothenburg. The next day is a drive along the super scenic Romantic Strasse to Heidelberg, famous for its castle, university and the "Student Prince."
Our cruise on the Rhine River has views of castles, quaint villages, vineyards, churches and "Lorelei," and it terminates in Cologne with a visit to its magnificent Gothic cathedral. On the last day, we fly home from Frankfurt.
